Developing/Extending Apps for on-premise Fiori installation

Hi there,

I have searched around for an answer to this question, but have so-far had no luck.

So here it is:

for on 'on-premise' installation of SAP Fiori, is developing/extending using SAP Web IDE 'in-the-cloud' (using hana.ondemand) included in the licensing costs. (or is there a separate cost to use hana.ondemand in productive scenario? I know the trial is free)

From what I can see SAP Web IDE using hana.ondemand is the recommended approach for Fiori app development but is not the only option.

There is a SAP Web IDE 'on-premise' version, but it appears that it does not have all the features/updates of the cloud version - is this correct?

Same goes for 'ABAP in Eclipse' approach.

Basically, I am investigating app development for 'on-premise' installation of SAP Fiori, and want to be clear from the start on which approach is the best, and if there will be additional cost to use SAP Web IDE 'in-the-cloud' connected to on-premise installation.

All info. appreciated,

thanks in advance,

David
