I am trying to transport SAP Fiori KPI from DEV to QAS using SAP SMART Business tool , after selecting my KPI and giving the package and clicked on download . But I am not able to to see anything under this package in SAP HANA IDE.

My Inbox Fiori app: Open Task configuration
Hi,
I'm implementing My Inbox Fiori app with ECC, SRM and MDG as backends. The app is working fine and I can see the workitems of each backend. But the Open Task button is not working. I saw in this document

that I need to configure the open task button using transaction SWFVISU. I wonder if someone has any documentation on how to do it for SRM workitems.

Employee Photo in Contact Details
Hi,
I'm curious to know if anyone has extended the Contact Details section of an Fiori Approval application (hovering over an employee name) to replace the standard person icon with a thumbnail image of that person.
If so how difficult would it be. We have a request from one of our executives to include this feature.

Catalog not showing in Tile Catalog
Hi,
I have configured a standard fiori App Analyze Payment Details by setting up the PFCG business catalog role SAP_SFIN_BCR_CASHMANAGER
My launchpad is newly configured so there are no existing tiles till now. After configuring the above PFCG role and the Backend Odata role , I am able to see all the tiles under the business catalog and I am able to run the standard application Analyze Payment Details from the tile.
But when I login through the URL for Catalog configuration http://<ip>/sap/bc/ui5_ui5/sap/arsrvc_upb_admn/main.html?sap-client=100&scope=CONF
there I dont see any entries either in catalog or groups (even if I login as admin). Both the Catalog and Groups section is empty.
Also , when i use Tile Catalog from the normal launchpad url ,after clicking on Tile Catalog , I get a screen with dropdown for Catalog. But the message "Loading Tiles" is shown indefinitely. There is no error in console and the system kinds of gets stuck always at Loading Tiles message.
I think the the above 2 issues might be inter-related and might have a common reason .

My inbox fiori launch pad issue.

We have configured my inbox fiori app(001) but while opening my inbox in launchpad we have issue.

Best possible choice for Dashboard development
Hi!
I am looking for different possibilities for creating dashboards for executives in Health Care industry. Basically, at first you are shown some tiles/visualisations with some context data behind them and by pressing on those tiles or visuals you could either drill down or view a larger/more detailed table or some additional visualisations. It
I tried Lumira, which had great visualization capabilities but no Dashboard capability (+ the licencing issue). I also tried playing around with SAP Smart Business Executive Edition, but it seriously lacked in visualization possibilities and flexibility, not to mention only possible data source is HANA view AND the product is not developed and EOL is 30. Sept 2017.
Are there any other products or is it easier to expose the required data through an OData WebService and create your own visualisation app with UI5 and publish it to Fiori Launchpad? Or is there a Fiori App available for all kinds of dashboarding capabilities?
To sum up, what are the most cost effective, non-time consuming ways to develop and consume dashboards to view data from BW system?
PS: Let me know when you need more info on my use case and requirements.

Factsheets are not displayed in Launchpad
Hi All,
I have completed my fiori Factshets(G/L Accounting Document and Vendor Accounting documents) are activated in both front-end and back-end service and roles are also assigned but these two are not visible in launchpad.
Note: Transnational Apps are not visible in Launchpad visible but not Factshets.
Please help me these two are very urgent.

Configure the SAP Fiori Tiles
Hi Experts,
I am new to Fiori,
Two queries:
1. I need to configure the Material Shortages Tile grouped under MRP Controller.
For Eg:
Here in the tiles the number should be the material numbers to be displayed. the Material Shortage tile standard doesn't have this and we need to customise it, to display the number of material list count it fetches the date from the SAP MM.
Let me know how to proceed or any configuration /developments needed?
2. Needs to set the layout as some default - (it should be a custom layout.). How to do it?

Hi All,
Right now in sap portal UWL we have functionality where user can filter items for his substitute.
We are looking similar functionality SAP FIORI Unified Inbox . Can I enable this using any config or setting or should I go for a custom development?
if it is custom, is the code change only UI side enough or do I need to change in the oData as well?

My inbox no pending tasks in app

I just configured My Inbox and in Launch-page I see that there is 1 task, after opening the App - No tasks are displayed:
in backend - inbox has 4 items.
What is the issue here?

SAP Fiori Launchpad theme display issue on EP 7.4
Hello everyone,
We have upgraded our systems to Portal 7.4 SP 11 and with that got the option to activate and use Fiori Launchpad.
While doing so, I tried using the content from SAP Fiori Launchpad on Portal – Sample Content for Administrators , but it never displayed anything.
The theme SAP Blue Crystal is not being picked up and the pages, tiles look blank. I have tried with chrome, IE11 but everywhere its the same result.
Any help is much appreciated.

Adding custom language file to standard Fiori app
Hi all!
I'd like to ask how to make use of a custom translation file for a standard Fiori app. It's the Inbox app, if that's relevant.
I can download the UI code using /UI5/UI5_REPOSITORY_LOAD, create a new language file to i18n folder for the specified language, but then:
- Do I need upload the whole folder back to system or could I upload just the new file?
- If I upload the whole app, can I use the same name or should I do a custom version?
- I hope I don't need to do an extension just for the new language file?
Something else?

My Inbox - How could add custom buttons for external events of workflow ?
Hello experts, I implemented My Inbox for our system. Everything is OK, when I want to add custom "Approve" or "Reject" buttons for my workflows if its internal event everything is working for us. However, if that activity have external events we couldn't find how can we add buttons.
On "Maintain Task Names and Decision Options" we did necessary configures and its working on here:
But on there we couldnt implemented:
Could you please help me for this ?
(If any change necessary from workflow for example adding user decision just let me know and I will change the every workflow)

Passing parameters from one Controller to another Controller

I have a scenario to discuss here.
I am developing a Fiori application using XML views and JS controllers.
I have two views and corresponding controllers.
1. View - Main.view.xml
Controller - Main.controller.js
2. View - TableView.view.xml
Controller - Table.controller.js
I need to display the Table contents based on the values clicked in the Chart.
I am calling second view TableView.view.xml in the Main.view.xml using following code ,

Error in fiori app
Hi,
We have create a application and configured in the fiori launchpad.
But when we try to run the app from sicf, we are repeatedly geting the following error,
UIComponent.js:6 Uncaught TypeError: I.fFunction.call is not a function
Really not sure how to solve this, we are using xml view.

SAP Fiori - Custom Launchpad
Hello Experts,
We have a requirement wherein , we need to create a custom Launchpad which will hold tiles with Multiple links on it.
