But I got confused in which system I have to do this? Backend or frontend - and which system has to be as destination.
I have already created trust relationship between back-end (NOE) and front-end (FID) systems, but with this next step I got confused....

In my fiori launchpad some tiles description are coming as "App launcher - dynamic" ,its appearing only for few users and only for few tiles ,for others its working fine.
I have done launchpad trouble shooting also,earlier it was working fine with all users .

I need some help.
I'm deploying the My Paystubs app (with no extension) in Fiori, and I'm getting the error below when I click on the app.
I have checked the backend dumps and gateway, but I couldn't find a way to fix this issue (see screenshot attached).
I have also already implemented the note related to PDF, but it is still not working.
Do you have any suggestion to fix it?

We have recently deployed SAP Fiori with the Create Leave Request application, and approve leave request app.
We have now been asked to look at look at the My Shopping Cart app, however i am struggling to finding comprenhsive documentation about it.
I am trying to understand it works, what are it is limitations? etc
We currently run SRM 7 on an abap platform so i know we can run the app fine.
If anyone has any useful information that would be great.

The Reject button in the Approve Service Entry Sheet App is disabled even though my SES has not been released.
Can you please help me why the Reject button in the SES fiori app is disabled? Is there something I am missing.

Fiori is the new and in the near future only user experience for SAP solutions. Originally developed to enable simple transactions, but now more and more maturing and also capable of handling more complex SAP transactions on any device.
Many of our customers are therefore considering implementing SAP Fiori, but find it very hard to get an overview of the impact on their current and future SAP system landscape.
Are you an on-premise company? Do you want to maintain all your SAP hardware and software yourself? Then install SAP Gateway as an embedded or separate front-end server in your on-premise environment, install the components for the Fiori Launchpad and applications, as well as the related OData services. Configure the authorisations and finally make your Fiori applications available to your Internet users by means of a webserver.
Extend existing Fiori apps or build your own with any on-premise Integrated Development Environment (such as Eclipse or Webstorm) by connecting to the ABAP repository on the Gateway. Optionally use SAP Afaria to manage your mobile users, devices and applications.

Are you a (considering) cloud company? Then first start managing your mobile users, devices and application with SAP Mobile Secure Cloud Edition.
Then install the HANA Cloud connector in your on-premise environment and start using the Fiori capabilities of the SAP HANA Cloud Platform. In this public cloud environment, SAP will provide you with a Fiori Launchpad and their currently most used standard Fiori apps, but the platform also enables you to build, extend, run and manage Fiori Apps. Also the authorisations to control access to the Fiori applications can be handled in the SAP HANA Cloud Platform.
In the near future the HANA Cloud Platform will be able to take care of your OData services as well, so only your SAP Business Suite system could remain on premise. This will provide you with agility on the front-end, while retaining stability in the back-end.

Hi All,
I have implemented the Standard My Leave Request Application for my customer.
I have encountered an issue that, the Approver Field in the Main Screen is Empty. But when the select Data, Leave Type and click on SEND button, In the popup I am getting the Approver Correctly(only in the popup) .
Analyzing the BSP page Linked, I could find that the Approver is being fetched from the Metadatacoming from the Method - CL_HCM_LEAVE_REQ_CREAT_DPC_EXT->APPROVERCOLLECTI_GET_ENTITYSET.
But when I open my leave application, this method is not called, other methods in the CL_HCM_LEAVE_REQ_CREAT_DPC_EXT class is being called properly.
Has any one encountered a similar error during your implementation or am I missing some configuration.
Help to resolve this would be highly appreciable.

the old launchpad used for Fiori Wave 1 apps was very pretty (nice background image; nice formatted logon fields for user name password).
For the new Fiori Wave 2 launachpad I just get the following (not nice ;-)) logon fields.
Is it possible to configure the page so that it looks like the old one?

I enhanced the BAdi "SRA008_BADI_APV_TRAVEL_EXP" for Approve Travel Expense Fiori App.
Steps Followed:
1) Added Fields in the Structure.
2) Populated values for the new fields
3) I am able to see the newly added fields and the values for these fields in the back end debugger.All the newly added fields and data is finally retrieving to "er_entityset" .
4) cleared the cache in both front end and back end.
Issue:
1) I could not able to see the newly added fields in the metadata.
2) we don't have any other BAdi to enhance the model.
Please provide some inputs?

When execute the Enterprise Search for SAp Fiori Factsheet App, the initial search is working fine, but when I want to go to the visualization, the app send this error: "Search Error Atributte RELATEDACTION.PROXY does not exist".

Hi User,
We are working on PO Track Fiori app implementation. Implemented standard app and works fine.
We have extended the ODATA services to add few custom fields in the application. We are using Web IDE to customize the application.
In the Web IDE, Extended MM_PURORD_TPO application and then extend the application by replacing the custom service. When i run the application it loads all data then it showing busy indicator in the screen.(PFA.). This issue occurring only first time loading the application. It is working fine if i go back to main menu and comes back.
Backend Component:
SRA018 600 0007 SAPK-60007INSRA018
Frontend Component:
UIX01EAP 100 0007 SAPK-10007INUIX01EAP
Note :
1. standard application works fine.
2. SO Track extended apps works fine in the same environment.
Please provide your input to solve this issue.

I am not able to see already created catalogs in launchpad. I am getting error 'Call to success handler failed: Cannot read property 'length' of undefined - TypeError: Cannot read property 'length' of undefined at that.oCatalogService.readCustomizingDefaultRequest.bIsLocalObj'.
Also, I am getting error while creating new catalog 'Cannot set property '$selected' of undefined'. All the required roles are assigned and Required services are activated already.
We are using SAP UI 7.4 SP 14.
Anybody has ever faced this kind issue. Please Suggest.

Hi, I have upgraded the gateway to SP12 together with other app components as well as UI5 and notes required.
After this, when I access the Launchpad i notice that some tiles lost their titles and now show a general title: "App Launcher: Static". This happens if I access the launchpad in ES language, but if I access in EN, the tiles look ok. This doesn´t happend for all tiles, some are still ok in both languages showing the titles in each language.
When I go to the Launchpad Designer, on the catalog and group list on the left side, some entries have no description at all. Again, this happens in ES langauge but not in EN.
Inside the tile, descriptions are not editable in ES language, and the following message shows up (will translate as it shows up in spanish):
"Original language for this tile is "es" and your user language is "en"; so this editable property is read-only. Change your user language to treat these properties".
This didn´t happen before but only after the upgrade.
I have refreshed all sort of caches using this programs/transactions:

Does anybody know how did this happen? I think that maybe something was originally installed in one language and the upgrade or notes applied in another.
I don´t know how the standard translations got lost. I don´t want to go into translation of the apps manually as I want to recover standard translations.
Help will be much appreciated. I really don´t know where to look through.
